WHAT YOU ARE BUYING

• A pedal is a physical object, built by hand after you order it. Each one is slightly different from the last, which is the point rather than a defect.
• A plug-in is a licence to use software, not ownership of it. You get to run it on up to three of your own machines at once, for as long as you like, with no subscription and no expiry.
• A sample pack is royalty-free. Use the sounds in anything, commercial or not, no clearance and no split. The one thing you cannot do is repackage the raw files and sell them as your own pack.
• Build plans are documents. Build from them as many times as you like, including to sell what you build — just do not resell the documents themselves.

THE PLUG-IN LICENCE

Yours, not transferable, three machines at a time. You can move it between your own computers freely by releasing a seat from your account page. What you cannot do is share the key, publish it, or hand it on with a sold computer.

The plug-in does not check in with us after it is activated, which is deliberate — it has to work in a studio with no internet, and in ten years when we may not be here. The flip side is that we are trusting you. A key found published gets withdrawn.

MONEY

Prices are in US dollars and taken by Stripe. Refunds are 14 days on downloads and 30 on pedals — the refunds page says exactly how, including the part about an activated copy still working afterwards.

WHAT WE PROMISE, AND WHAT WE DO NOT

Anything with our name on it gets repaired for as long as we are here, with no time limit. If a plug-in is broken we fix it. If a pedal arrives faulty it comes back at our cost.

What we cannot promise is that a plug-in will work in every host on every operating system for ever, or that it is the right tool for what you are doing. Beyond repairing or refunding the thing you bought, our liability is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here removes rights the law where you live already gives you.

BETAS

A beta build is unfinished by definition. It may crash, it may change underneath you, and it may be withdrawn. Do not use one on a session you cannot afford to lose.

ACCOUNTS

You do not need one to buy anything. If you make one, keep it to yourself — anything done through it is treated as done by you. We can close an account that is being used to share licences, and will say why.

CHANGES

These terms can change. The date at the top moves when they do, and whatever was in force on the day you bought something is what applies to that purchase.
